Q&A with the Artist

Tell us how your work is made.

Press molded in molds from an original sculpture, stoneware, finished in acrylics, metallics, oil stain, clear sealer. Outdoor pieces bronze coated, patina

What makes you passionate about the medium you work with?

Clay is the most expressive of sculptural mediums, so immediate when working directly in wet clay, malleable, responsive.

What is something unique about you or your practice?

Humor-where else are there birds in cowboy boots, dogs in party hats, stately warthogs for the garden. Birds inspired by the crazy names the are called by-twits, boobies, growlers, grebes.
